MWEWA S. - DMV CHAPTER

Mwewa is Zambian and raised in Maryland. She's passionate about building community and finding kinship in the her community. Especially building bridges between generations and connecting people through stories. She enjoys music, poetry and reading.

Ronnie james - nyc cHAPTER

Born in the Helen of the West Indies, Ronnie moved to North Carolina from St. Lucia, to reunite with his mother. He is a DACA recipient and a Dream.us Scholar, pursuing a degree in international relations, concentrating in international law, public policy and education. He hopes to use his degree to bridge the widening gap in foreign affairs, through international organising and law. Currently, he organises with UndocuBlack as one of the NYC Chapter leads, and a member of UBN’s policy team.

Ainslya charlton - nyc chapter

Ainslya Charlton-Lessie engages in activism at the intersections of immigration and Black Lives Matter. Ainslya is a POSSE scholar and studied Political Science and Human Rights at Trinity College. She is now a second-grade teacher in the city where she grew up, Brooklyn, NY.
